Sharon Mossbeck is a UK based conceptual artist. Her work focuses on themes of death and religion with her influences coming from history and medicine. Her beliefs spark a fascination with religion and her work shows how you must have faith. It also shows what she thinks happens after death. As well as being an artist she allows others to learn from her by doing workshops and giving talks and lectures.
Her work ranges from very simplistic to more detailed. Personally I prefer the simple style of art than to the more detailed because it looks illustrated which is in my topic area therefore naturally I am more drawn to it. I like illustrations and the techniques behind it however she has made these on a variety of different materials. Some with acrylic paint on canvas others are sown on material.
