Tate Liverpool

Cécile B. Evans currently has an exhibit on at the Tate in Liverpool that I went to today. It is based on artificial intelligence and the relationship between humans and machines. It shows the influences that new technologies have on us, how we feel and act. It really puts things into perspective about what technology is doing to our minds, good and bad. Technology makes us think in ways that a few years ago we wouldn’t even have thought was possible and now it is progressing so quickly we are struggling to keep up.

The exhibit shows a narrative that is shown over several screens, robots and other sculptures. The film shows the emotional relationship between humans and robots and shows how we can be vulnerable towards the digital world. It was something so intriguing; I have never seen an exhibit quite like it. It defiantly brings the idea to mind and makes you realise the type of world we are now living in.
